Harassment of bloggers :IIPM (Arindam Chaudhuri ) has issued legal notice to the blogger

Harassment of bloggers seems to be catching up. Arindam Chaudhuri of Indian Institute of Planning & Management (IIPM), New Delhi who has recently launched a business magazine as well seems to be repeating the TOI act. These two articles "The fraud that is IIPM" & "The Truth About IIPM's Tall Claims" has disturbed IIPM Boss.For details read:

IIPM has issued legal notice to the blogger, a copy of which is on the web. This blogger had to quit his job with IBM for his views about IIPM advertisements.

Earlier The Times of India hit an Indian blogger, Pradyuman Maheshwari with a defamation case in response to his criticism of TOI at Mediaah!, his blog. Mediaah! (http://mediaah.blogspot.com) was a weblog that called itself "The Media's Media". Maheshwari is a senior journalist. As a consequence, the blog was shut down. The blogger did not have sufficient funds to fight TOI.
As of now there does not seem to be any specific laws for blogging and the rights of a blogger.
